February ’92 was also marked the released of Radiohead’s debut album. February 22nd, actually. They called it Pablo Honey. And you know where they got that title? remember „The Jerky Boys“ and their crank phone calls? Radiohead was given a Jerky Boys tape by another English group called Chapterhouse. And there’s one bit where a someone makes a call to a guy and pretends to be his mother. The conversation opens with the phrase „Pablo. Honey“. The members of Radiohead, all considering themselves to me „mama’s boys,“ decided that this was somehow an appropriate title for their debut album. So that’s what they did.
